Riviera dei Ciclopi - Small islands formed from ancient Mt Etna lava flows providing a fascinating view. Mythology claimed that these were the giant stones thrown by the Cyclops as Jason and the Argonauts were escaping the island on their ships. . From the shoreline, you can walk along the Lungomare and enjoying the sights and sounds with Ciclopia always in view. During the summer, it is possible to have a fisherman take you to the island for a small price. There you can lay a towel on the ground and soak up the Mediterranean sun!
