Abramtsevo

Abramtsevo (Russian: Абра́мцево) is an estate located north of Moscow, in the proximity of Khotkovo, that became a center for the Slavophile movement and artistic activity in the 19th century. The estate is located in the village of the same name, in Sergiyevo-Posadsky District of Moscow Oblast, and it is surrounded by beautiful mixed forests, in which spruce, oak and birch trees abound. The area also has numerous streams fed by spring waters.
