The 2023–24 Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team represents Ohio State University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach is Chris Holtmann, who is heading into his seventh season with the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes play their home games at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio as members of the Big Ten Conference.

Previous season

The Buckeyes finished the season 16–19, 5–15 in Big Ten play to finish in 13th place. They would go on to defeat Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan State in the Big Ten tournament to advance to the semifinals. However, they would lose to Purdue, ending their hopes of the tournament championship.
