Hi, I'm Shahram. I’ve picked up a patchwork of credentials over the years that somehow led me to the perfect job: taking things apart and figuring out how they tick.

Education & Experience

I studied Central and Eastern European History at the University of Glasgow, only to discover I'd majored in unemployment. After nearly a decade grinding it out in London, I finally swapped my three-hour commute for a breezy seven-minute ride along California’s sunny central coast—and haven’t looked back since.

Favourite Fixes

I’ve converted just about everything from American English to proper English, but my proudest fix was upgrading a busted micro-USB port to USB-C.

It was my first time soldering—jumping straight into micro-soldering, no less. One of my kids broke a cable, and instead of replacing it with the same outdated standard, I spent two weeks researching and two days at the iron. Worth every minute.

More About Me

When I’m not tinkering or learning something new, you’ll probably find me playing Minecraft with my boys or roaming the coast. I like to keep my hands full—usually with a new idea, an old project, or something I probably shouldn’t be taking apart (but will anyway).
