Introduction

Use this guide to replace the motorized floor nozzle cover on a Shark Rocket HV322 if the motorized floor nozzle cover is damaged or needs to be removed to access components underneath it.

The motorized floor nozzle cover protects key components of the motorized floor nozzle like the brushroll motor and circuit board.

Be sure to turn off and unplug the vacuum before beginning.

    • Make sure vacuum is turned off and unplugged before starting.

    • Push down on the black wand release lever to remove the motorized floor nozzle.

    • Rotate the three locks that secure the brushroll cover with a spudger.

    • Remove the brushroll cover.

    • The locks will click when they have reached the "unlock" position.

    • Remove the ten 9.4 mm Torx T8 screws on the bottom side of the motorized floor nozzle.

    • Remove the brushroll cover.
