Introduction

This guide explains how to replace the screen in a Lenovo ThinkPad T430s. The ThinkPad T430s screen has a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. It also has a matte finish and a LED backlight.

Physically damaging your ThinkPad causes injury to the screen. You should replace your screen if you notice cracks, black spots, distortion, or discoloration.

so... I have one of these t430s tinkpads, the screen had gotten damage so I replaced the screen with a brand new compatible lcd. Problem is that even after replacing the lcd, the screen will not turn on. Just stays dark. External monitor connected to the vga port has image without issues. It is only the internal screen that won't even light up. What could be the issue seeing as the lcd panel is new and confirmed compatible?
