Introduction

If you are experiencing diminished battery life or overheating, use this guide to replace your HP Chromebook 15a-nb001dx's battery.

The battery is in charge of powering all systems and the laptop as a whole. If you notice any problems with decreased battery performance, overheating, or swelling on the underside of the laptop, the main battery could be the issue.

When replacing the battery, make sure the device is powered off. Should there be excessive battery damage, be careful when removing. Since potential hazards are likely to be present.
