This guide shows how to install the earpiece speaker in your Google Pixel 9a smartphone.

Use the flat end of a spudger and tweezers to scrape up and remove the old earpiece speaker adhesive from the frame.

Apply strips of thin double‑sided tape on the bottom of the earpiece speaker, around the perimeter.

Set the earpiece speaker into its cutout (with the cable on the left) and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Use the flat end of a spudger to press the earpiece speaker cable into place on the frame, making sure the circular cutout goes over its alignment post.
