Introduction
If your 2015–2023 Toyota Tacoma is blowing stale or musty air through the vents, or your air flow has decreased significantly, this guide will help you replace the cabin air filter.
The cabin air filter removes dust, pollen, and airborne particles from the air before it enters the cabin. Over time, it gets clogged and needs replacement—usually every 15,000 to 30,000 miles depending on your driving conditions.
This guide will walk you through the process with simple steps and visuals. No tools are required, and the process takes less than 10 minutes.
Before you begin, make sure the car is turned off and parked safely. If your glove box contains valuables or loose items, remove them first.
