Hello, my name is Brandon Mammon! I am a fourth-year design major at UC Davis. Within the field of design, my main focus is fashion design. I am super passionate about sewing and the garment construction process. My work often features elements of upcycling, using scrap and second-hand fabrics to create new and exciting pieces.
When it comes to repairs, I am an avid D.I.Y.er. I strongly believe that I am capable of learning how to repair my broken items even if it seems out of my reach. Some repairs I have done have been on my car, sewing machine, clothing, and household items.
The first photo is a picture that I took of my friend modeling a pair of jeans that I made. I spent almost 12 hours sewing this pair of pants from scratch.
The second photo is a dress that I made for my final project in my sewing class. The dress was inspired by 12th-century Gothic architecture.
