Hello! My name is Bree Cooper, and I’m a student at Austin Community College majoring in Web Development. I chose this major because I love problem-solving and the creative aspects of coding. After earning my associate’s degree, I plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in software engineering with the goal of becoming a software developer, where I can create innovative solutions for businesses and individuals.
My skills include proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a growing knowledge of Python. I have hands-on experience with paint finishing and home carpentry, which has helped develop my attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. One of my proudest accomplishments is creating a personal website that showcases my projects and coding journey.
While I haven’t worked on software repairs yet, I’m eager to learn how to fix and troubleshoot software issues as I progress in my studies. In my spare time, I’m an avid reader of fantasy novels and a huge fan of R&B music—there’s nothing better than a good book paired with the perfect playlist.
Autumn is my favorite season because of the cozy weather, and I’m a proud mom of four fur babies who keep me busy when I’m not coding or reading.
This project is important to me because it will help sharpen my ability to clearly communicate instructions, a skill I’ll use in both customer support and software troubleshooting. Fun fact: I love organizing things, whether it’s my bookshelves or tackling a new DIY project at home!
