Hello friends! I'm Jessica Fisher, a current Professional and Technical Communication graduate student attending the University of North Texas (UNT)!

Although I have my Bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Communication from UNT, I'm pursuing my Master's degree in hopes of furthering my skillset and welcoming any opportunities that may come from that.

I believe my certification with Information Mapping is a plus for future employers because I can bring a clean, fresh perspective to any documentation woes.

I'm very proud of myself for having led a campaign at work to bring awareness to our documentation team's services! We saw a 48% increase to our documentation portal's traffic because of this effort. Image 1: DocYOUmentation Campaign

I'm also very proud of myself for having been chosen to be a speaker for UNT Technical Communication students and faculty on multiple occasions. This opportunity was so rewarding for me because I've always known the dynamic of me being the student, so to have that flipped and play a 'teacher' role was new for me. Image 2: Ask the Pros Flyer

I'm not too savvy with fixing something. I think this project will help me grow as a Technical Writer because having always been the 'user' that documentation is designed for, I'll now get to be the 'solver'.
