Hi! My name is Jake M.
I'm a Junior at Austin Community College with a major in software programming. I also hold various Associates in Game & Visualization Programming and also Completing another Associates in Computer Programming.
A Computer I have built and upgraded over the last 7 years with parts that I bought and learned to put together. With other parts that I didn't use on this computer no more I converted them to mini servers or other computers for my family.
My dream to become a software developer started when my Family first bought me a Gameboy. I was fascinated by how the device created the graphics and how interesting a small device like this was able to entertain millions of people. Initially I was aspiring to become a game developer but I saw how much more of impact you can make as a software developer making tools for users to help reduce workload and improve work life balance. I was moved more to become a program developer the more I got into computers first learning to build a computer when I was 15 and later understanding of programming.
In High school, a small group was formed as part of a club I was in to create a webpage that listed all the clubs to expand their outreach. It was an amazing project to work on and the people who I worked with were all amazing.
I see this project to be very important in understanding how I present anything to other people who may not understand technology like I do. Its very important to make these guides to help people understand it more easily without needing to go out of their way to take classes. This will also help me so that if I make programs and want to sell the program to others who don't understand programming that I need to show how it works as if they were using it for the first time.
