Hello! My name is Veronica Shedd! I am a design major and art history minor at UC Davis. I am currently a 2nd year and am passionate about going into the realm of interior design. I am half italian and hope to move to Italy post graduation and carry on my studies at grad school in Florence, Italy.
I don't have a lot of experience with repairing, but hope to learn the importance of repair for products so that I can help elongate the life cycle. This project relates to me as I am a college student and I have had experience with many household items getting damaged within my college apartment.
Being italian and visiting my friends and family there every summer inspires me to create art about Italy and learn more about the culture and lifestyle. I am fluent in italian and get the privilege of speaking with locals when I visit Italy. This watercolor painting is from a photo I took when visiting the Almafi Coast. I love visiting new places in Italy and within Europe.
