• School - University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
  • Major—Why did you choose this major?

I am a Bioengineering major with a minor in mathematics. I chose this major because my brother was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk cancer and I wanted to be able to work and engineer medicine to help children who are suffering from cancer.

  • Aspirations—What do you want to be/do? What are your hopes and dreams?
  • I want to be a childhood cancer researcher at Dana Farber Cancer Institute that works closely with the Jimmy Fund and Boston Children's Hospital where my brother was treated. My dream is to engineer medicine and find cures for cancer so children have a shot at life.
