Rylie Lambert

I'm Rylie and I'm an undergrad student at the University of North Texas as an Ecology major (technically it's Pre-Ecology in Environmental Science). I'm hoping to go into the Environmental Scientist field as I think the Earth is pretty cool. I don't have much experience in the technical field, but I'm ready to gain as much knowledge from the iFixit team as I can!

A lot of what I do is school and watching TV. One of my biggest hobbies AND obsessions is movies/TV shows. I love most films from IT Chapter 1 to The Notebook. My favorite TV show of all time is How I Met Your Mother. I don't know the exact number of times I have rewatched that show, it's definitely in the hundreds at this point.

I don't know if this counts as a hobby, but one of my main obsessions is my cats. I have two cats and would rather hang out with them all day than anything else

One of the most interesting things about me is the fact that I went to Greece last summer (2023). I learned a lot of rich history about the world and humans overall. The amount of artifacts and interesting documentation Greece has kept safe in monuments like The Acropolis, Posedian's Temple, Olympus, etc. is amazing. I will never be able to get over the beautiful Grecian islands and temples I saw in just under two weeks.

I think this is the most obvious thing about me as I am an Ecology major, but nature is one of my favorite things of all time. I love everything from the bacteria found in dirt to the tallest mountain. Everything on planet Earth is so interesting! Maybe it's just my science brain or my ecology major, but one of my biggest goals is to try and save the Earth.
