Hi I'm Amber! I am a third-year design major at UC Davis, specifically interested in graphic design. I chose this major because graphic design always intrigued me, and I wanted to learn the foundation and principles in an institution. I have a lot of different career aspirations but ultimately I would love to go into teaching. I hope to develop my skills enough to be able to share that knowledge with others. Even though I love learning about graphic design, some areas I would love to teach in are videography and photography because I have been making videos and taking photos from a young age, and I work in the field.
Currently, I work for a restaurant doing their branding, social media, and marketing. Some of my tasks include photographing the menu items, photographing catering events, filming and editing short-form content for social media, and re-designing the menus, to name a few! In the future, I would like to continue working with businesses in this arena because I get to utilize all my different skills and passions. Aside from design, one of my hobbies is practicing and teaching yoga! I teach 4 classes a week and practice around 4 times a week as well. I am also a photographer for the yoga studio which I really enjoy. I've included some photos I've taken for the restaurant and the yoga studio below!
