I am an undergraduate UC Davis design student, aspiring to expand my knowledge in this field to create sustainable and human-centered designs to better communities. My dream is to apply my knowledge and work with people to help bring their visions to life and/or design graphically too.
My skills comprise sewing, handling basic tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and power drills, gluing items together, following directions, and having the resilience and patience to always see projects through. As a child growing up, I became more familiar with building things and I got more acquainted with wood building and assembling items with hammer and nail. Therefore, I've made projects such as picture frames, planter boxes, racecars, phone stands, mini arcade games, and more. So far, I'm more familiar with building than repairing but I'm always up for a challenge especially if it will benefit the longevity of an item. Some items I've fixed are sewing holes together, putting a candle holder back together, and fixing a seat track in a car. In the future, I really would like to learn how to fix a door hinge.
