I am currently enrolled at Austin Community College, immersing myself in the Automotive Repair and Advanced Diagnostics program as part of the Toyota T-TEN Program. Upon graduation, my goal is to seamlessly transition into a full-time position at a Toyota dealership, where I aspire to not only master the intricacies of repair and advanced diagnostics but also eventually lead a team of my own.

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of learning under the guidance of a seasoned Master ASE Certified mentor. This experience has accelerated my learning curve, enabling me to adeptly address the brand's common in-depth issues with efficiency and precision.

My passion for the automotive industry extends beyond the classroom and into my personal life. As a lifelong auto enthusiast, I find immense joy in reviving vintage vehicles, both foreign and domestic. I recently undertook a challenging project with a '79 Volvo 240 wagon, discovered at a Hot Rod shop. After breathing new life into it by swapping the engine and transmission, restoring its original brown finish, and making personal modifications, the project became not just a task but a deeply gratifying endeavor.

Looking ahead, my ultimate aspiration is to establish a repair and restoration shop of my own. This vision is fueled by a genuine love for the process of uncovering, fixing, and modifying vehicles rather than opting for replacements.

In addition to my academic and practical achievements, I have earned two ASE Mechanical certifications in Braking Systems and Suspension & Steering. My commitment to continuous improvement is mirrored in my active participation in various auto forums and my close-knit circle of friends who share similar interests. While we have garnered recognition through car shows, the true reward lies in the collaborative building and restoration process that defines our shared passion.
