Hello! I am Nicholas Stockdale, a Marine Corps Veteran and Freshman at University of North Texas.
Education
I have an associates of applied science degree and obtained Airframe and Powerplant Training Certifications to work on aircraft and I am currently majoring in Construction Engineering Technologies.
Aspirations
Ever since childhood I have always dreamed of becoming an engineer and be one of the individuals to contribute in the construction of families homes and making their dreams come true.

I have four years of carpentry work specializing in custom made cabinets and refurbishing antiques as well as five years of automotive and aircraft mechanic work focusing on removing and replacing mechanical components. Along with my extensive Marine Corps experience specializing in requisitioning, maintaining accountability, issuance, returns, and logistical coordination's on joint nation exercises and missions of hazardous material such as ammunition, arms, and explosives as well as common infantry and security tactics, maneuvers, placements, and demolition activities.
Projects/accomplishments
I have assisted with planning and executing over twenty joint operations overseas regarding the logistical movements of ammunition, arms, and explosives and retiring from the Marine Corps.
Repair experience
Unfortunately I do not have any technical experience in regards to fixing automated systems or electronics however and very intrigued at the prospect and cant wait to contribute to iFixit!
Accolades
I have received fourteen personal awards from the military for exemplary service as well as special recognition and foreign nation awards from the Japanese Self Defense Force.
Hobbies
In my free time I love to enjoy spending personal time with friends and family as well as working on my own personal carpentry projects, reading, and exercising at the gym.
