My name is Micah Breckenridge, and I am a 23-year-old finishing up an
Organizational Leadership degree at the University of Memphis. My entire life I have
had a passion for sports and athletes. I have held all positions within a team such as
player, coach, and administrator. This process of sports and displaying sporting events gets me excited, and the small details are my favorite! Similar to how sporting events develop, I have moved across the United States a significant amount. Living in multiple cities allows me to effectively communicate and relate with any type of person with any background. The quick change to an event or even life is something I a familiar with. My experience comes from playing competitive sports through college. I was formerly at the University of Richmond where I played division one football. Growing up, playing college sports was my biggest goal, however now it is to administrate them. I have developed qualities of good character and honesty that will allow me to keep any sporting event fair and clean. From my experience at St. Luke’s I have developed strong relationships with kids and young athletes. Although my playing days are over, I am always interested in open positions for coaching and directing athletic events.Personally, I am a very patient and gentle person. My competitiveness comes out under the lights, so I have a solid balance of both. Leading groups of people is something I am passionate about as I have been doing it on the court of the field for much of my life. Although sports have a heavy influence on me, I have been able to use my strong qualities wherever I have worked such as my own vintage clothing boutique. Regardless of the type of team I find myself on it is always my goal to do my job and role to the best of my ability. A team with a competitive atmosphere is one that I strive in.
