Hi! My name is Dillon Laney and I am a Professional and Technical Communications major at University of North Texas. I chose this major because I like fixing things, and I would like to do just that as a technical editor.
I am mostly skilled as a writer, but I have built myself a desktop computer, piece by piece, and that is something I am very proud of building. I have not had to fix it yet, but I would love to know how so that I'm ready when the time comes.
In my spare time, I love to write and read.
This project will benefit me because I will be doing what I love and fixing things. I will gain experience in instruction writing and it will look fantastic on my resume. Most importantly, I will have the satisfaction of giving someone the tools to fix something.
