iFixit Device Wish List
Since there are a vast number of things out there that need fixing, we need your help to focus our guide-creation efforts on the devices YOU want to know how to repair. Whether you're new to the world of repair or a seasoned fixer, we welcome all members of the iFixit community to let us know which devices you wish to see added to our online repair manual.
You are the driving force behind our mission to save as many resources as possible out of landfills. We’re providing tools, parts, and the platform designed to foster repair – but you’re the one who actually makes the change.
Therefore, we’re interested in learning what would help you most! We want to include you in the process of choosing the next devices we should create content for.
Haven’t found the guide for the device you wanted to fix? Is there a specific device you’d like to see documented on iFixit? Throw in your two cents on our crowdsourced wish list! We've created this form for suggestions on which devices are the most sorely missed from our online repair manual so that we can provide the guides that will result in the most devices fixed!
University Technical Writing Program
Our goal at iFixit is simple: to provide manuals for fixing every device in the world. Why? We believe that if you can't fix it, you don't own it. Yet, even if our in-house team of writers spent the next hundred years creating repair manuals for devices, we'd only hit the tip of the iceberg. There are so many electronics, vehicles, and appliances out there; it's not possible for the iFixit team to write repair manuals for them all.
That's why we've enlisted some help from technical writing students around the US. It's a triple-win: college students hone their technical writing skills; people around the world gain a comprehensive set of repair guides, and more devices are kept out of the landfills.
