Introduction

Is your device getting too hot? The following steps indicate how to remove and replace the motor. For this repair you will need a black spudger, an allen wrench attachment, and a phillips #00 screwdriver.

Step 1

Using the black spudger, remove the two rubber covers to reveal the screws underneath.

Step 2

Unscrew the revealed screws on the bottom of the massage gun.

Step 3

Unscrew the small black screw on the edge of circular plate.

Step 4

Take off the cap of the massage gun, watch out the back part of the gun with the integrated circuit might fall off so make sure you secure it while taking off the cap.

Step 5

Remove the two 8.24 mm silver screws on the top of the lever arm with the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Step 6

Remove the 14.85 mm black screw from the underside of the rotary arm with allen wrench attachment.

Step 7

Grasp the rotary arm and carefully pull up to remove it from the device.

Step 8

Remove the four 11.26 mm silver screws from each side of the motor frame with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Step 9

Remove the two 6.14 mm silver screws located on the top plate with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Grasp the plate and carefully pull up to remove the plate from the device.
