    • Remove the rubber plug located near the camera by gently prying upward with your fingers.

    • Gently lift the camera shield after removal of the rubber plug.

The T630 phone is really old and this plug may be hard to remove as it may be decomposed like black putty. It really doesn't need to be taken off, you can get the protector for the camera off without taking out the plug when the rubber is like this.

    • Gently pull the ribbon from the circuit.

    • Remove the now disconnected screen.

there is a litttle lever on the connection on the circuit board that must be lifted up (a fingernail works fine) before pulling on the cable.

you can also remove the keyboard connection (orange ribbon cable) in the same manner as for the screen cable. You can also just lift out the circuit board if you want to change the entire outer case.

Worked well until the screen replacemet - ribbon cable would not go into clamp - phone plus new screen straight in the bin - a little gutted - but hey it was an old but loved phone.
