Introduction

A common problem seen in the 2000s Mercedes-Benz is the pull handle breaks off fairly easily with time. This is the full replacement guide for the pull handle of a 2007 Mercedes-Benz c230. The inability to use the pull handle makes it awkward and difficult to close the car door once inside.

This guide can be followed with most Mercedes-Benz models, including: C-Class, W203, C230, C240, C280, C320, C350, C32 AMG, and C55 AMG.

Please make sure to open the window before starting because it will make the steps go by a lot easier.

    • Use the Door Upholstery Remover to pry off the door panel from the metal door frame.

    • After separating the door panel from the metal, gently pull the door panel away from the metal door frame from the sides and bottom to loosen the nails.

    • It would help if the window was down. After opening the window, make sure the car is turned off.

    • Use Flathead 3/32" or 2.5 mm Screwdriver to press the clips on the side of the pull handle piece.

    • This part of the pull handle is most likely going to be your broken piece, but if not, the piece you will be removing is the top of the pull handle.

    • These are the clips.
