Introduction

This guide talks through the process for replacing pedals in the Logitech G29 Driving Force controller.

For full replacement desoldering the pedals is necessary. To access the insides of the pedal box, a Philips #1 screwdriver is recommended.

  1. AVKVgvlqlhYtEOCa
    • Begin by orienting the pedal box onto its underside.

    • Remove the twelve #1 Phillips screws that secure the bottom cover to the pedals.

  2. 1TKG16YbYYUAonBL
    • Remove the remaining twelve #0 Phillips screws from the bottom cover.

  3. 5RWGJEiJJCcAvcP1
    • To remove the pedal, first take out the 2 Allen screws located in the middle of the pedals.

    • You only need to remove the screws out of the pedal that needs fixing. Any others can stay where they are.

  4. Z4T5iQPSchOWd1SO
    • Now that all screws are loose the back plate should be able to be removed revealing the pedals.

  5. wauiCOe5IxfWm4km
    • If pedal is unresponsive start by checking the gear mesh.

    • If gear mesh is not connecting check to make sure everything is tight.

    • If gears are stripped or have broken off get replacement gears.

  6. yZJmUigeUxXmy4RE
    • If gears are fine check the wire connections.

    • If red wires are loose, resolder and make sure the connection is good.

    • If the black ground wire is loose, tighten it up.

    • If none of these fix the problem, source a replacement pedal.

Hola. Tengo un problema en el conexionamiento desde los potenciometros hasta el conector DIM9. ¿Alguien puede pasar Esquema Electrico para poder conexionar los distintos cables en los pins correspondientes?
