Introduction
Use this guide to replace or clean the drain filter in your LG WM3050CW Washing Machine.
The drain filter collects large debris, like loose change, that might be stuck to your clothes. If your washing machine isn't removing this debris, or if your tub is not draining properly, then your filter may be broken or clogged.

Place a bowl next to the device.

Pull the drain filterhose out of its slot in the chassis enough to lay over the bowl.

Remove the plug at the end of the drain filter hose to release excess water into the bowl.

Twist the drain filter counterclockwise until its fully disconnected from the chassis.

Remove the drain filter.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
