Introduction

Use this guide when you need to replace the vibration motors of the IFYOO ZD-V108.

The main reason you would need to replace the vibration motors are if the wires in them short circuit and they no longer work.

When doing this replacement make sure the device is not plugged in and it is completely dry.

    • Remove the seven 9.2 mm screws from the back of the controller using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the back cover.

    • Remove the two 7.2 mm screws that connect the red daughterboard to the tan motherboard using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Pull off the glue holding the wires down on both sides of the controller.

    • Pull the vibration motors out of their plastic frames and hold them or set the controller down so as to not strain the wires.

    • Carefully pull up on the motherboard until it slides off from the four black cylinders keeping it in place.

    • Flip the motherboard to its other side and locate the pieces of metal that are connected to the red and black wires.

    • Use a soldering iron and this soldering guide to desolder both vibration motors’ wires from the motherboard.
