Introduction

This guide shows how to install toilet seat stabilizers. Toilet seats often do not remain stable despite tightening the seat bolts. Loose toilet seats can pose a danger to the elderly or anyone with balance difficulties. We will show you how to install seat stabilizers to ensure your safety. • Place the longest flat side of the safety bumper against the bottom of the toilet seat adjacent to any existing bumper.

    • Loop the rubber band around the toilet seat so the safety bumper sits flush and securely against the seat.

    • The perpendicular piece of the safety bumper should fit just inside the toilet bowl when the toilet seat is fully down.

    • Confirm the placement of the safety bumper and adjust it if necessary. Return the seat to the upright position.
