Introduction
This guide shows you how to replace the needle of your Heyday Suitcase Turntable. If no sound plays when a record is spinning on the turntable or the sound quality is poor, the needle likely needs to be replaced.

Before you begin the repair, turn off the record player and unplug the power cord. You will also need to identify the type of needle that the record player uses. You can find this by searching Heyday Suitcase Turntable needle or the type may be printed on the side of your needle.

Remove cartridge lock by pushing inwards (towards the needle arm, while lightly squeezing the sides by hand. Then pull downwards and towards you to disengage the locking hook. This will unhook the lock between cartridge and base.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Replace the needle by clipping it back onto the cartridge and then reconnect the wires to the correct part of the cartridge.
