Introduction

Replace a dented, cracked, or scratched casing on your HTC Radar 4G. If your casing is dented, your LCD is most likely damaged too. It would be best if you also replaced your LCD, to restore full functionality to your phone.

    • Carefully slide off the motherboard protector.

    • This may take some force if this is the first time opening the phone.

    • Take care not to apply too much downward force, because you may accidentally damage the sensitive components on the motherboard.

    • Remove the 2 black T5 Torx screws from the silver frame.

    • Make sure to not accidentally slip the screwdriver, because you may break sensitive components on the motherboard.

  5. GRvYpiOjPGIXBNZn
    • Gently push on the motherboard until the display starts to come out of its frame.

    • Once it is at about a 30-degree angle, grab the display and pull it downwards to remove it from the frame.

    • Remember, do this carefully. We don't want to end up with a dead motherboard.
