Introduction
This guide will show you, step-by-step, how to replace the battery of an HP Pavilion 15-cs3xxx laptop. The battery provides power to the laptop while it's not plugged into the charging adapter/power outlet.
Before starting, make sure to power off and unplug your laptop from any power source.
While unlikely, if you're replacing a battery because it's swollen, make sure to handle it carefully to minimize the chance of it catching fire. Also make sure to take your time while following this guide to avoid damaging other internal components of the laptop.
