Step 1

Position the plastic spudger beneath the center of the keycap.

Step 2

Continue to insert the plastic spudger inward while simultaneously applying upward pressure.

Step 3

Please be very cautious for the next step, as the key hinge is very fragile and prone to breaking easily.
Insert the spudger underneath the key hinge and pry it upward.

Step 4

Take note of the metal hooks once the key hinge has been removed.
Hook the outer two holes of the new key hinge to the top metal hooks on the keyboard.
