    • Using a Y1 screwdriver, remove the six screws on the back of the device as pictured. The bottom two screws are located inside of the battery compartment.

I did this with a Y0 bit. It works if you are careful. I wouldn't recommend it on other consoles but for this tiny thing, it works.

The guide says a Y0 is needed. Is it a Y1 or Y0?

    is it Y1 or Y0?

    • Gently lift and separate the back housing from the rest of the device. Now you've got the back housing out!

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Can’t seem to figure out how to remove the battery prongs off the back housing :(

If you didn't get it figured out, there is a small metal leg visible from the inside of the housing on the side closest to the edge of the housing. You can press the leg down with a pair of tweezers while pressing the battery prong plate down gently and it should pop free and allow you to push the prong out.
