All you need for this repair guide is the soldering iron and the iFixit tool to complete this guide, besides that there is nothing unusual about this repair. Just make sure you don't burn yourself during the soldering process and be safe and responsible.

Tools

Step 1

Remove back panel by wedging the iFixit opening tool on all four sides of the device.

Step 2

Lift the speaker from the top right corner of the device using an opening tool.
The speaker should come off easily. If it does not, look for any tape or adhesive that may be fastening it to the internal panel of the device, and remove it.
