Background

WHILL is a Swedish based company created to give people a wider access to easier transportation. They designed multiple models of mobility aid wheelchairs with the C2 model being degraded for a wider range of mobility. It was an electric-powered portable wheelchair with omni-directional wheels made to move smoother and easier on different surfaces. The C2 model, while discontinued, is still being sold on eBay and Amazon for around $1,400 (price is dependent on the seller).

Identification

The C2 model of WHILL’s Electronic wheel chair has a standard black seat cushion and short back rest. The seat portion of the device is connected diagonally to the back wheels while the front wheels, connected by a long platform, extend a foot from the seat, leaving space to place a person’s feet and room for a metal basket placed under the seat. Armrests connect from the backrest of the seat to a thick and sleek portion that connects to the bottom of the chair diagonally. This part of the chair, while is commonly seen in white, is available in multiple colors. This portion on the righthand side is what connects the power button and joystick controllers to the chair.
