Notes: Some earlier Xperia 5 II and Xperia 5 III devices had particularly bad "Lightsaber" issues, where the OLED screen would gain a permanent line, this is due to them using Samsung display panels. Japanese models will work in the US partially on T-Mobile USA, however some features like VoLTE do not work, 5G is also not supported on any variant in the US.

Variants: XQ-AS42 (Unlocked Japan), XQ-AS52 (Unlocked Global), XQ-AS62 (Unlocked USA), XQ-AS72 (Unlocked CN/HK/SEA/TW), SO-52A (Docomo Japan), SOGO2 (Au KDDI Japan), A002SO (Softbank Japan)
