Background

The Novametrix Model 7000 is an SaO2/ETCO2 monitor designed to display oxygen saturation, pulse rate, expired CO2, respiratory rate and more. One of its highlights is the non-invasive monitoring, multi-parameter capability, real time data display, alarms/alerts. It is portable and easy to learn how to use.

It was released around 1989. It hasn't been discontinued but due to the advances in medical technology, it isn't widely used anymore. In its prime, it was sold in North America, Europe and some part of Asia. Currently, you can find it on websites like Ebay for $50-$100.

The Model 7000 was made for patients with different respiratory illness such as COPD and Asthma. A lot of people liked it because it was very advanced for its time which made it useful in areas like the ICU.
