These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Background
Barnes & Noble released the Nook BNRV300, also called the Nook Simple Touch, in April 2012. It is the second generation of Nook e-readers. This device has a grayscale touchscreen and is portable for on-the-go entertainment. With your Nook, you can read and download books, newspapers, and magazines. A microSD memory card can be inserted for more storage space. This device was sold until 2014, after which it was discontinued. There have been no recalls for this device or its components.
This device does not include GlowLight LED technology. It has a standard micro USB charging port with a wall power adapter. The device has a black border around the screen. To the right and left of the screen are bars to press for turning pages. At the bottom is a small “n” home button. On the back panel at the top of the Nook is a power button. The charging port is located at the bottom of the device. The microSD card slot is on the upper right side of the device.

The model number (BNRV300) for this device is located on the backside beneath the Barnes & Noble logo in small print.
