Microsoft Surface Pro 7+

On December 13, 2021, iFixit and Microsoft announced a program where iFixit Pro independent repairers and Microsoft Authorized Service Providers can purchase tools for repairing select Microsoft Surface devices directly from iFixit.com.

The Surface Pro 7+ is the enterprise model of the Surface Pro 7 that launched alongside the Surface Pro 8. It has the option for LTE connectivity as well as support for Microsoft’s digital Surface Pen. While the announcement coincided with the debut of Windows 11, it still features Windows 10 Pro out of the box, which can of course be upgraded.

Microsoft designed the Surface Pro for professional use, with a battery that can last up to 15 hours and charge from 5% to 80% in “just under an hour” according to their website.

The Surface Pro devices all look very similar, having a sleek design with a kickstand and detachable keyboard. You can identify your Surface Pro model by the 4-digit number printed under the kickstand on the bottom edge of the back cover:
