Background
Announced on May 10, 2021, the HTC Vive Focus 3 is a virtual reality headset that features a larger field of view (120°) and improved comfort than its predecessor the Vive Focus Plus. The starting retail price including controllers was $1,300 and is only offered in the color, black. The headset also features a 150mm-wide facial interface that accommodates users wearing wide glasses. Like its predecessors, the HTC Vive Focus 3 does not require tethering to a computer and has mainly targeted its sales of the headsets to businesses.
Identification
The HTC Vive Focus 3 is a VR Headset with a sleek black design and a much larger display than the cameras of the previous generation. At the rear of the headset, there is a dial for adjusting the fit to the user's head. On both sides of the plastic strap the word "VIVE" is imprinted. There is also an adjustable velcro strap that extends over the top of the headset.
