Background

Announced on February 21st, 2019, the HTC Vive Focus is a lightweight VR headset that is made to be worn like glasses. Its lightweight and foldable design makes it easy to store and carry around. The HTC Vive Flow won the "Best Wearable Tech" in the 2021 Esquire Gadget Awards due to its ease of wearable design compared to the bulkier VR headsets of the time as well as its design to be more accessible to a wider audience. The headset features a 75 Hz LCD Display with a 100-degree field of view and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 system-on-chip. It can be paired with a smartphone for various apps and streaming services. The starting retail price for the HTC Vive Focus was $499.

Identification

The HTC Vive Flow is distinguishable by its glasses-like form with sunglasses-colored lens. A cord extends from the right temple that is used to connect to a power source to charge and power the headset. Both of the temples have the word, "VIVE" imprinted on the outer part of them.
