Background
The HTC Vive Tracker is a VR motion-tracking device that creates a wireless connection between the Vive system and Vive products. The Tracker was made to be compatible with Steam VR Tracking 2.0, further helping the user to universally track any object in VR. The THC Vive tracker is compatible with the HTC Vive (only with the Base Station), Vive Pro Series, Vive Cosmos Elite, and Vive Cosmos External Tracking Faceplate (when using Base Station or SteamVR Base Station 2.0). The Vive Tracker 2.0 has a battery life of approximately 4.5 hours.

The HTC Vive Tracker is identifiable by the blue Triangular symbol in the center which is also the button used to power the device. It can also be identified by its model number, 99HANL005-00.
